We have been visiting St Ives for a number of years and found this to be the best! The breakfasts are excellent (especially the Smoked Haddock!), rooms are always clean and well maintained. The friendly and helpful hosts are always offering the inside track on information on what to do and see if you are short of ideas.Great value for money, we will be back.

We have been staying at Tregony several times a year for a decade or more. In recent times we have tried out a couple of alternatives yet niether has come close to matching this gem of a guesthouse. The rooms are immaculately clean and tastefully furnished. Over the years we have seen them constantly upgraded to maintain the highest of standards. Most rooms offer wonderful views.
Mel's breakfasts are simply the finest we have ever encountered in bed and breakfast accommodation. This is the difference between something knocked up by enthusiastic amateurs and the finesse of a trained chef. The only slightly negative point is that parking is not available on the premises though it is available to guests in a private carpark just a short walk up the road. You will find Tregony very hard to beat. I would be surprised to discover a better guesthouse in St. Ives.
