“Perfect !!!”

Just got back from two nights at the Pebble and it was truly perfect.
We were made to feel welcome from the moment we set foot inside the door and help was on hand for directions and tips about where and where not to go, all the time.
Real thought has been put into every detail in the Pebble including their own guide to St Ives, with their own views and reviews of the local restaurants and facilities. We stayed in the four poster bedroom, which although it did not have the view of the town, was supremely comfortable and perfect for a romantic weekend. Mornings at B&B's can always be treachorous with never knowing what is going to be served up, but I can honestly say I've had better. Again beautifly presented and more importantly fantastic to taste !! The Eggs Benedict is great ! Had perfect weather which always helps, but will be heading back to St Ives and will definitely be staying at The Pebble and for longer !! 10 out of 10

We stayed at Pebble for only one night but thought it was a lovely place. The breakfasts were fab and the hotel has a great location in St Ives - we wished we could have stayed longer!

“Great Hotel in Charming St Ives”

All the rave reviews that this small hotel has received are justified. Pebble Hotel is situated high on a hill in St Ives, and commands a lovely view over the Harbour and town. The welcome was warm and the room spacious and comfortable - I'd booked the twin room but in fact found a double and a single bed, with another single bed that folded down. I suspect that this may have been classed as a family room by some hoteliers. The breakfasts were delicious and there was a lot of choice. Special mention must be made of the butteriest scrambled eggs I've ever tasted! All in all, I'll be very happy to return.
One note of caution....there's a flight of steps down into the town from across the road. At night, these are unlit and so you may find it useful to take a torch with you.

The other reviews say it all. Best hotel that we have stayed in anywhere in the UK. First rate service in a hotel with modern decor. Made to feel welcome and nothing too much trouble.
Many thanks to Jenny & Ricky for working so hard to make our stay a pleasure.

“Stylish gem of a hotel - perfect for a romantic getaway”

This was a wonderful place to stay - a real find. From booking to departure, the service was first class. On arrival, my partner and I were greeted warmly with a cup of tea in the lounge, a welcome refreshment after a long drive, before being shown to our room. We had booked the last room in the hotel and we weren't disappointed to find we had a beautiful four poster bed, nice toiletries in a spotless clean, modern bathroom, TV / DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities. The room didn't have a view but this didn't matter too much since all we had to do was step outside for a vew of the picturesque harbour and town.

The location was ideal for exploring St Ives - the harbour and nearest beach was a 5 minute walk down some fairly steep steps. We spent our first day exploring the rabbit warren of cobbled streets around St Ives and our second, exploring the surrounding countryside. The hosts , Ricky and Jenny ,are extremely knowledgage about the area and are happy to suggest restaurants and places to visit.

I should also mention the breakfasts - they were probably one of the best I'd ever had! A menu with a large selection of choices was available each day - I had Eggs Benedict one day and tried the waffles the next - yum!

The only downside I can think of was the lack of parking. The hotel has less parking spaces then rooms so this meant we had to move our car on one of the nights as the hotel was fully booked. This wasn't too much of a hassle - we did eventually find somewhere but St Ives is notoriously difficult in this respect so more to do with the town than the hotel, but you have been warned!

If you're looking for an intimate, friendly B&B with hospitable hosts and stylish, contemporary surroundings, then you will love this place! We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in St Ives and can't wait to visit again!
