“White Waves Rocks, want to go back already!”

White Waves Guest House

Mar 3, 2008

Just returned from two nights at White Waves Guest House and was very sad to leave.

We were made very welcome by Howie and Andy, the room was immaculate and with great views of St Ives.

The breakfasts are delicious with plenty of choice.

Highly recommend it and will certainly be going back hopefully in the not too distant future.

Thanks very much.

“Fabulous!”

White Waves Guest House

Feb 22, 2008

After reading the reviews on trip advisor - i wanted to stay at White Waves and emailed them, after a few lovely informative mails back and forth we arrived Sunday lunchtime after a 4 hour drive - so were very ready for the warm welcome from Howie - instantly put us at ease, offered up a lovely cuppa & biccies and at our request - a recommendation to a fantastic carvery for lunch - no problem with parking at the b&b as they have spaces and are literally 4mins walk away from the harbour. Our room - the crows nest - was a lovely room - the bed was more comfy than mine at home and the white linen on the bed smelled so fresh it was a pleasure to get into, the room felt so cosy, warm and homely. Breakfast - which might i add is pretty yummy - whatever you choose - i had fresh fruit, full english and the croissants with bacon & mushrooms (not all on the same day of course!) - it set us up for the day and Howie will make you smile lots, we asked him about lovely places to visit and he gave us some great places which i had never even seen before - oh - i also asked where to get the best piece of cod.. and he was spot on there too! I had to have another before i left! Andy has a lovely unique little shop which is well worth a visit and nothing is too much trouble for Howie, just ask! The guys are great, and i was sad to come home - st ives is a hard place to leave behind and the b&b even harder - i think of the guys as friends now and wouldnt dream of staying anywhere else when we go back - as the guys say - they are just a normal guesthouse - but i say you'd be hard pushed to find such a comfortable atmosphere anywhere else

Liked - clean, quiet, friendly, lovely brekkie and hosts!

Disliked - Saying goodbye :o(

White Waves Guest House

The most peaceful, cosy, tidy, warm, relaxing, clean and wonderful bed and breakfast ever. I had a warm welcome and the owners are just so warm and friendly and interested in providing you with an excellent service. The breakfast was delicious and set me up for the day (hours and hours of walking), the room was just right, the view fantastic (i could see the sea from my bed), the atmosphere of the place really homely......i could go on.....I will certainly go back there and highly recommend it!!

This is a perfect b & b, that provides everything a guest could want: good food, lovely rooms, pampering (Cornish fudge and bathrobes!) and individual attention from Howie and Andy. There was even a £5 voucher to spend at the new gallery!
If you are thinking about booking, do it. You won't be disappointed!

This was a fantastic b&b. when we arrived we were soaked due to famous english rain and we were greeted with a hot pot of tea and cake!!!!!!!! great!
The house is spotless! everything was very tidy and yet it was really cosy.
Howie and Andy are fantasic owners and provide you with a really warm welcome and goodmorning everyday. the breakfast is fabulous, you wont need to eat again until tea time.
Howie has great recommendations for places to visit and eat in St Ives.
this really was like staying in a hotel with complimentry dressing gowns and towels.
I loved the way that you could return to the home whenever you liked in the day and watch one of their great dvds.
I would recommend this B&B to everyone, so long as their is a room avaliable for when my boyfrind and i go back again this year!

perfect place to stay and it was a shame we had to leave!
