“Perfect In Every Way!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012 for a stay in July 2012

We had a wonderful stay at 8 Bowling Green Terrace.
The location is central and the views from two of the bedrooms are delightful. We were blessed with perfect weather so took full advantage of the proximity to the beaches and sitting out on the decking in the back garden until after the sunset
The house is extremely well equipped, stylish with some super finishing touches.
When we arrived, it was clean, fresh and felt like 'home from home'. From that point on I knew that we'd enjoy our stay.
It's reassuring that Ali the owner and Geraldine the housekeeper are contactable if needed.
We're hoping to return in the not too distant future!

“Beautiful house in a great location. We'll be back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012 for a stay in May 2012

Our trip to No.8 was an absolute pleasure, even before we left our house! The owner is really helpful and accommodating, great communication and instructions on how to get there. The house itself is beautifully finished, really comfortable and well equiped. Our favourite spot was sitting on the day bed in the main bedroom, book in one hand, glass of wine in the other and looking out over the roof tops to the harbour. Perfect.

The house is minutes from the beautiful beach and Tate St Ives, and also minutes in the other direction to the restaurants and shops around the harbour, so couldn't be a better location.

We would definitely like to return to No.8 and have already recommended it to friends.

“The perfect beach boutique retreat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012 for a stay in June 2012

We had the most perfect stay in this gem of a house. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating with our needs. On arrival there was everything we needed in the fridge until we settled in and made a trip to the shops. The interior furnishings definitely had the wow factor but were practical with our 15 month old son, with videos and toys to keep him entertained. We enjoyed looking out at the harbour from the second floor twin room and will be back to stay in the future.

Liked best: The beautiful furnishings and harbour views
Liked least: The steep hill walk from town, but we got very fit from doing it with the pushchair

“A perfect place for a perfect holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2012 for a stay in April 2012

The house is a gem. The location is superb with gorgeous views of the bay, very quiet, yet very close both to the town centre and to the Portmeor beach. The house is very comfortable, spacious and full of light. Our children loved it. From the first moment we all felt very much at home there and had a lovely relaxing time there. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. A big thank you!

“fantastic home in a fantastic place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012 for a stay in February 2012

we love St Ives, but will certainly be returning to this little gem.
It is just like the pictures, in places 'better than home' and every detail is thought through.
The place is spotlessly clean, well organised, lovely linens, great full kitchen. No wifi- but check, they intended to put some in,
We did have to follow instructions carefully to find the front door, the address is confusing but the neighbours were helpful. With extreme care we managed to drive to the front door.
Walking into town the hill is reasonably steep, like anywhere in town, but you you are in the shopping area within 3-4 minutes or the Tate the other way. Amazing that it is so quiet and the views so lovely.
Almost don't want to tell others cos we want to go again.

“Unbeatable location in St Ives - Go there!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2012 for a stay in March 2012

Really great place with spacious rooms and well equipped kitchen, perfect for self-caterers. Tucked behind the Tate so really close to the centre of St. Ives but just behind all the hustle and bustle so a fabulous retreat. Couldn't have wished for a better location. Sea views from each of the bedrooms and huge bathroom too. Garden a real sun trap if you get bored of the many beaches or galleries (unlikely!).

Liked best: Location and well equipped kitchen
Liked least: No parking (but extremely rare in St. Ives anyhow so good luck!)
