“Fish and chips a touch more luxurious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

It is what it is, just a fish and chips restaurant where however you can sit and enjoy people watching on the boulevard.
The food, good, nothing wrong with that, we had a combo for 2 to share, with extra squid and it was lovely.
Had a good time here and the staff is very friendly.

“Best fish in St Ives”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2014

Hands down the best fish in St Ives. We ate here three times after disappointing food at other resturants. Harbour can cook fish properly i.e. not over cook and it is very fresh.

I would highly recommend this resturant...don't be put off by the take away element.

“Nice location Small fish portions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2014

All in all worth a visit The addition of fried sweet potato garnish was a nice touch Toilet ok but shared Not keen on this idea especially for children Fish portion too small so would say a bit expensive at £15 per head with 2 out of 4 on tap water and the others having only 2 beers between them. Would go again but would have a pie as probably cheaper. Very nice young man serving us.

“Worth paying extra for seagull protection!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2014

My sister once had a seagull dive on her head trying to get her icecream in St Ives, so be warned; they say don't feed the seagulls so the seagulls help themselves.
Bearing this in mind and following the advice of previous "tripadvisors", we were more than happy to pay the premium to sit inside the restaurant and got a window seat with a view of the harbour.
(many thanks to Rick Stein at Padstow for kick-starting a trend of modern, friendly restaurants attached to "chippies").
The portion of cod and chips wasn't massive, but this was reflected in the price and side servings of minted peas and garlic mayonnaise really made the meal, washed down with a very civilised glass of white wine.Much better than a wooden fork and dodging seagulls.
The staff were very friendly and the restaurant/amenities well-maintained.

“:-)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2014 via mobile

I'd deacribe it has "fish and chips with an edge" the edge being that the food was very tasty and not greasy, as it can sometimes be in a fish and chips shop.
Friendly staff.
Nice views over-looking the sea (when sat near the front).
Nice selection of wines available too, as well as other drinks.
Great value. Prompt sercice!
Worth going to :)
