“Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

It is a blue flag beach owned by Mr Bradley of the Carbis Bay Hotel. We loved the clean clear shallow waters that always seemed warmer than stated.

“Lovely Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

Came here as we were staying Lelant, was easy to get to, both by Train and by car. We parked at the small car park- this was meant to be a daily charge but the attendant gave us a discounted rate as we were only staying an hour (we later came back on evening).
The bay is lovely, there is also a café (which we did not use) as well as toilets (these smelt quite bad, even from outside- but what can you expect from public toilets).
Nice to get away from the busier beaches.

“Beautiful uncommercialised beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

Beautiful stretch of pale sand. Uncommercialised with a small cafe and car park.Ideal for a family day out. Nearby train station.lovely sedentary walk through to St Ives past the pilchard watching point and across some equally sandy bays into St Ives which is bustling and I feel a bit tacky now! From the other direction you can walk across to St Uny with breathtaking views from the cliffs. Watch out for the golf balls! The Hayle estuary is spectacular with kite surfers and miles of beach.A dog walkers paradise only blighted by the doggie trophies that were found hanging under bridges and on tree branches! Higher up the Godfrey lighthouse is well worth a visit. free to National Trust members with plenty of parking.Views across to St Ives and surfers on the beaches Ideal for a picnic or a lazy afternoon..A short walk up to see the seals is a must. Another spectacular easy walk is across to Kynance cove over the cliffs. Sea spray and foam dashes up over the cliffs and the wild flowers are stunning in May.Free loos.

“Tis simply Bootiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013 via mobile

Arrived by train yesterday, hot, tired, and weary. Uon arrival we sauntered down the hill from Fernhill to walk the sea washed sand bar that sheltered the beach and our spirits were revived. Not too busy at this time of the year but still many families enjoying the sea and sun.

“Wondrful beach!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

We traveled a lot to find this one perfect beach and i think that was it.. a great medium sized beach with some restaurants and shops around.. Few parking places with close walking proximity and stunning views all over! White sand and some spectacular cliffs went just perfect with crystal blue water! We enjoyed a lot and surely will come again!
