Very high quality beach cafe, right on Porthmeor, stay as long as you want. Loos clean, some tables right on the sand, nice coffee.

“Good quality food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

Very good standard of food which was presented really well. Staff were welcoming - very good service. We also ordered prosecco by the glass which was lovely. My top tip would be to go in the day / early evening so that you can see the beautiful view of the sea and beach - if you go at night you can't see outside because of the lighting. This is a top quality cafe'.

“Great setting, good food, helpful staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012 via mobile

Visited with my husband and 8 month old son. The cafe isn't huge, and is quite narrow, although does have some lovely outside areas. However, British weather being as it is, it was too cold to sit outside with our baby, so we were happy to wait for an indoor table. I did find out later that the outdoor alcoves have heaters and blankets. The waitress was lovely and gave us menus to look at whilst we waited, then cleared us a large corner table with space for highchair. We had food from the tapas menu which was all delicious and we could have ordered more.

The view over the beach is just lovely and if we are ever in St Ives again I wouldn't hesitate to visit, whatever the time of year.

“Fabulous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012 via mobile

We visited this cafe last weekend on the Saturday afternoon just as it started to get cold. We found one of the nooks at the top with the heater and sat there for hours drinking tea and coffee and eating yummy cake. The blankets and cushions were perfect and we all huddled together (6 adults, 1 5 year old and 2 toddlers aged 2). It was such a great way to relax. We took turns in going down to the beach with the children.

The staff were very friendly and service was great.

Loved it and would definitely recommend. We will be going back on our next visit to St Ives!

“Very good food and perfect view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

The service could be better but this cafe is popular (we had to queue to get a table for lunch on a Wednesday); the food is very good, a little unusual (squid and chorizo salad) but definitely very tasty. The view cannot be beaten as you basically sit by the beach with nothing obstructing the view. Highly recommended.
