We booked an early table to take advantage of their 'special deal' but in the end chose about the most expensive thing from the a la carte!! Oh well, these things happen!
I started with the venison carpaccio with rocket, parmesan, caper berries, rosemary and lemon oil and hub had the pork and foie gras terrine with rye toast and caramelised onions. Both were delicious!
We both had a half lobster with crab risotto for our main course and it was gorgeous!
Piglets that we are, we rounded off the meal by sharing an orange blossom and grand marnier creme brulee and a glass of dessert wine.
This restaurant was new to us since our last visit, so it was a 'must try'! I can highly recommend it. We had a better meal here than we had at the Porthminster Beach.
