This was our third year to Seaview, and as with the other two years, a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday was had.
The site is well situated for many of the wonderful sights and activities that Cornwall has to offer, and although it may take a while to get to your destination, the beautiful scenery makes the journey worth while.
We have stayed at many sites over a number of years with different companies and have to say that Seaview takes some beating, in price, entertainment and friendliness-hence our third visit!
Our caravan (although only a budget van) was spotless, well equipped and everything worked. As it turned cold during our two week stay, and our caravan only had a gas fire in living room area, I enquired at reception about additional heating, and was told that a heater would be supplied straight away- the man was waiting at the caravan for me to return from reception! You cant get faster than that.
We found ALL the staff - from reception to groundsman were very efficient, friendly and eager to help- nothing was too much trouble.
The bedding was spotlessly clean, and clean bedding was delivered to the van on the Saturday of our second week-wonderful.
The evening entertainment is the best that we have ever had. Captain crumble (Alan) is excellent at his job. Always ready with a joke and full of fun. Everyone loves him from the children to the "older" generation. The best thing about the entertainment is that there are no stupid games that you are "dragged" up to participate in and made to squirm whilst everyone falls about laughing at you making a complete idiot of yourself. Its all good clean fun with lots of quips and plenty of laughter. The different acts that appear every night are very very good.
Nicky- the bar manageress keeps a well stocked bar, that is run to perfection. All the bar staff are friendly, helpful and full of fun, as well as being efficient and polite, Its a pleasure to go to the bar.
The restaurant caters for all- from fish fingers to steaks to sandwiches. The food is very good and reasonably priced.
The actual site is well maintained and very clean. Its best feature I have found (being a parent/grand parent) is that every staff member makes it their duty to ensure that all children are safe in the environment they are in-be it the swimming baths or the shop- they are very child friendly. Its like a big family get together. I would recommend Seaview to all families.
We are looking forward to our holiday next year-and we've only been home 1 week!
Keep up the good work Seaview.
Polperro is a "must" to visit
