Stayed here as part of my UK cycle tour, had finished a very hard day and was given a very warm welcome by Russell (Proprietor) who quickly sorted out my bike for storage, helped me with my packs to my room and gave me some good tips for eating nearby (When you have just used 10,000 calories cycling good food quickly is important!), the tip was the Admiral Benbow in the town centre and it was very good.
Russell was also extremely helpful with breakfast, as I was leaving at 5-6am it was a bit early but he made sure that he had everything ready the night before even down to a cold flask of milk for my cereal. Couldn't have been more helpful throughout.
Room was on the top floor and very comfortable and quiet, facilities were good and the room had a very cosy feel about it. Only concern I would have is that it was in the attic of the house and was fine for me (I am not that tall) for someone of greater than six foot it could feel a bit claustrophobic so I would point out at time of booking if you are tall to make sure you are one of the other rooms (Think there was only one in the attic space)
Location was on a quiet residential (Well, kind of residential as they are houses but the majority are B&B's) street within a five minute walk to the town centre. Well located to be close enough but still quiet enough for a good sleep.
