This is a character cottage, with a completely open plan downstairs, high ceilings and big windows, which make it light, spacious and airy. It is largely painted in white and is clean. The two bedrooms and second bathroom upstairs are reached by steep stairs and are of adequate size. The cottage is well-decorated and maintained. The heating and hot water are both ample. Lots of towels were provided and the kitchen was well-equipped for 4 persons. The view onto Newlyn Harbour and the bay across to Penzance is impressive. The cottage is nice and quiet and approached by a path including some steep steps (with handrails). It is not possible to park outside, although there was some street parking nearby in October. There is a car park 50 yards away, but it is expensive (£6 pd) and frequently full at night. We thought this was a nice well located cottage maintained and furnished to a high standard.
