Just spent 4 days in Penzance and stayed at Cornerways. Found it by googleing Penzance guesthouses and took a chance. It turned out to be really nice, the rooms are clean, had ensuite and TV/coffee in room. Mine was a single room but i had a look at the double as I may go back in the summer with my wife and it was a good size.
You couldn't beat the location as it's easy walking distance to the station and shops. The owners seemed nice and are a good source of information on where to go. It's a simple, clean, well kept and run little guesthouse that i'd recommend.
