“very quirkey”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Love this street for its variety of antiques and art, furniture shop, brickabrack, and the turks head pub. The antique shop at the top of this street is three floors of all sorts of collectables, allow at least 2 hours to really browse this one

“Best street on Cornwall”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

Wow - the best part of Penzance with all kinds of cages, independent shops, restaurants, galleries, boutique hotels. Shame the Arts Club has gone but the Artists Residence is starting to fill the gap

“A certain something!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

Chapel street has a variety of B & Bs, shops, bars, pubs, cafe's and galleries to visit. It has a quirky and original charm of days gone by, with some points of historical interest and buildings. I have been to Chapel Street many times and would definately recommend it.

“Interesting historic street”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

It is worth taking a stroll down Chapel street. Easily missed if you are just wandering around Penzance without a map. Get the free town trail guide from the tourist office. Some of the nicer pubs are on this street (The Union, Turks Head, and Dolphin), as well as the bizzare Egyptian House.

“Not much to see..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Same as any other street really. Few shops & the Egyptian House that some rave about. Looks unusual-but nothing to do inside - apart from a teeny tiny little soap shop inside, & flats for let up stairs.
