Walking distance from the town and train station, was a fantastic B and B. I echo all of the other comments in the previous reviews.
Very friendly, down-to-earth and efficient owners who kept the place spotless, and cooked good breakfasts - and catered for a veggie like myself with ease (too good- had one every day for a week).
Only gripe was that the room we had was very poky and I kept banging myself on corners, and the shower was very weak. This did not detract from this brilliant, great value B&B. Make that 2 gripes, the owner offered to book a taxi for us to go to a wedding, but the taxi never turned up and had I to call another one (I think she didn't make the booking). The other local taxis were really unhelpful and claimed not to have adequate taxis at the last minute (yeah, right- mid day end of peak season)... ended up getting a taxi from a miserable taxi man waiting in the taxi rank). We were late for the wedding! This is not really a B&B problem, but worth noting if you're visiting Newquay with no car!
Lots of amazing walks around Newquay and surfing (if you like that sort of thing)- stay away from the tea-shops and cornish pasty shops if you don't want to become addicted to these delicious yet fattening treats! Great chippy too.
Do NOT feed the seagulls.
