“Really nice stay - surfing trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

A friend and I stayed at St Breca while on a surfing trip this summer. We both thought that St Breca was great, the place was very clean and the staff were so friendly. We booked a twin room, however when arriving they gave us huge room that slept five people, this was great for us because it gave us loads of space.
Nick and Michelle were great through-out, they provided us with local knowledge about the best places to eat, ect. and whenever we had a question and they weren't around we could text them and they replied very promptly. Also they was never any issue with the amount of sand that we brought back into St Breca either and they cleaned it up very fast, which made us feel very comfortable!

The st breca satisfied all my needs for a short stay. It is ideally based for all that newquay has to offer.[10 min walk from bus stn, rail stn; pubs/restaurants/takeaway's, shops, etc; choice of beaches within 15 mins walk. [good british legion club 15 mins walk away.] The staff here at st breca are very pleasant and helpful.

Room Tip: can be a little noisy at the front with window's open.

Great location and the owners really go out of their way to make sure you have a very enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed for two nights and when I arrived late on my new motorbike, unfortunately all the parking spaces were already taken. Rather than risk leaving it somewhere unsecured, Nick phoned his Father to ask if I could leave it at his house. He then led me over there in his car and gave me a ride back to the St. Breca. His Father even parked his car in front of my bike for the two days I was there to ensure that it would be safe. This was beyond anything I would have expected and I was extremely grateful.

As far as the accommodation itself, it's comfortable, clean and near the centre of town. The breakfast was great also and as far as value for money, I don't think you could find any better in Newquay. I'll definitely be recommending to anyone going to Newquay and certainly hope to return myself.

My sisters and l, recently visited Newquay, and stayed at a bed and breakfast. lt was run by brother and sister, Nick and Michille. They counld not have done more for us, nothing was too much trouble, and so much local knowledge to unpart, and they took the time to do that. The property is situated a short stroll from the main shopping areas, and the local transport, not forgetting the beautiful beaches and walks around the town. We spent all of our 5 days enjoying the attactions that cornwall has to offer, and it was a pleasure to get back to St. Breca, our little home, thanks to Nick and Michelle. lf you want a friendly and comfortable stay, l would recommed a stay there, you wont be disapointed. Violet neal, from london.

We stayed for 2 nights in a double ensuite and really enjoyed our stay, couldn't have asked for more from Nick and Michelle, we came and went as we pleased, were always greeted with genuine smiles and a lovely breakfast provided. Would definitely recommend to those looking to be close to town, we reached everything on foot- bars, restaurants, even newquay zoo. With parking included we found this bed and breakfast great value for money. Many thanks, we will be back.
