Stayed here in June 2012 when the kids were still at school so it was very quiet. The caravan was clean, the staff (what we saw o them) were friendly. They even deliver pizzas from the cafe to your caravan from 5-7 each night! We loved this place. Be prepared for Newquay to have lots of hills, it felt we were perpetually going up or down a hill but there is a bus stop very close to this park which makes it much easier. Large Morrisons a couple of minutes drive down the road (don't go to Lidl, it was like a ghost town) next to a McDonalds.
Very good base to go exploring around Newquay, only 20 minutes (up a hill) walk to the town centre, the zoo is right next door and overall a very pretty location near some formal gardens and boating lake. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: The twin rooms are v. small, we had a 4 berth cravan and it fit two of us perfectly, using the twin...

We stayed on Trenance Holiday Park through Quiet Life Holidays. When we got there we were presently surprised, despite the caravan being close to a main road it didn't disturb us at all, the caravan it's self was nice, a little older than you would get on a park like Haven but it was well maintained. The owners had left us a few things such as kitchen towels, toilet roles and tea and coffee along with a small printed note welcoming us to the caravan (you don't get that with Haven). It was a 2 bedroomed caravan with plenty of space, it was quite cold but this was due to the time of year and the gas fire in the living room area and electric heater in the bedroom soon warmed the place up.
The park it's self is quite quiet, it has everything that you would need on a park for static vans, tourers or tents. There isn't a bar or club house but its not that sort of site and if you want that then you can go to a Haven.
There is plenty to do nearby, Newquay centre is about a 10 - 15 minute walk away but there are some hills that you have to climb so if you struggle I would suggest that you jump in the car (if your lucky you may get free parking in Newquay near to The Battery Residential Home) or you can get a day ticket for the land train at £5. Newquay Zoo is just around the corner, a short distance away and there is a pub that does a carvery just up the road, there is also a Morrisons, a McDonalds and a Lidl.
All in all we had a great holiday and would certainly recommend this site and we would recommend Quiet Life Holidays, we'll be booking with again!

Okay location, right next to the town (short walk) however on site the facilities could be better. Small bar would have been nice instead of having to walk into the town centre every night.
Nice beaches nearby, and lots of amusements in town.
We stayed in a premium caravan - however this was not as 'premium' as other caravans I have stayed in. And felt quite out dated... overall an ok caravan site but we will be looking to stay somewhere with a on site bar next time and a more up to date feel.

We decided to wait till september to avoid the August crush and chose Trenance because of its relatively close proximity to the town centre. We hired one of the 6 berth caravans which were very reasonably priced. The caravan was superb. Very clean, modern and well laid out.The site was also clean, including the toilet and shower facilities and quiet at night which made a pleasing change from some sites we have been on. The shop is not the best stocked i have been in but does have the basics. The town is just a steady 10 minute walk and takes you past the gardens, zoo and sporting faclities. if you like your sites to be lively and full of facilities then this isnt for you but if you are prepared to go looking for these things and enjoy the quiet life on site then i would recommend this place to anybody. An added bonus was the sight of two owls sat on a telegraph pole in the middle of the site one night which probably gives you an idea of the quietness!

I chose Newquay to avoid crowds and have a relaxing holiday. This is the first after my son was born. He is 10 months now and we deserved a break. I preferred this caravan park than a B&B because of the privacy it offered. Our baby may cry anytime and we did not want to disturb the neighbours. He was able to crawl around happily in the living room.
I packed lot of food and cooking items from London. I found that unneccesary, as ASDA and other supermarkets are in walking distance.
I did not take public transport and was able to enjoy the beaches by pleasant walk.
The reception is managed by Carla. Carla helped us find routes to beaches.
What I found strange was the travel cost hire was £10. The cost of baby cost would be £40 and the hire charge does not justify.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a value-for-money holiday.

Room Tip: Go for a chalet. Its spacious. The caravans have length advantage, but Chalets have the proportional...

We decieded to holiday in Newquay this year , we stayed at Trenance holiday park it was like something out of the show Hi Di Hi it was so antiquated the roads were really rough if you want to call them roads , the shop was really expensive and the so called games room was full of kids swearing and sitting on the pool table. The reception staff were pleasant but what i can only describe as maintanence men ? drove around the site it tatty vans like it was Brands Hatch (not good if you have small children or the elderly) We ate in the cafe one evening and next day we were all ill . The man in the cafe was incredibily rude they were having aparty one night and the cars had parked so that others could not get through when i asked if someone could move the cars so we could get through i was told to not so politely to **** off and go around neadless to say we will not be returning or recommending i would rather pay extra and go to Hendra which is just up the road . Really dissapointing as it has so much potential .
