“a little gem !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

We visited the Little Kahuna because of the reviews it had received on Tripadvisor,we were not disappointed ! A small restaurant with only about six tables,we booked well in advance. The food was superb, imaginative, well presented and very reasonably priced. Both my wife and I had the spiced beef for starters wow ! beautiful ! I had the pad thai for main and it was again beautiful,my wife had the crab and mussell linguini which was superb. We managed to book a table again two nights later and again superb ! The seafood curry was divine ! On our last night in Cornwall we visited Rick Steins Seafood restaurant In Padstow which we enjoyed immensely but in my opinion the food at Little Kahuna was equally as good !

“Sweet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

Visited Newquay for the day and just popped in here around 5 pm to see if they had a table available. We were asked to come back in 15 minutes (group of 4) and they would sort something out. Fifteen minutes later we were sitting down and being attended to. The surroundings are comfortable, clean and snug although you do not feel as if you have been crammed into a small space. The service was excellent, prompt, polite and friendly. The food was really very good, an interesting combination of European and Thai flavors, well presented and extremely tasty. This place is well worth a visit.

“Lovely place in Newquay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

We were staying in Newquay for 2 nights and tried to walk in on the first night but it was full, so definitely book ahead. It's a charming little restaurant just before the main drag, great Menu if you're looking for an interesting mix seafood/Italian/Thai cuisine. Great wine selection. Not sure of hospitality rewards in UK salary but be prepared to tip if you're not used to doing that otherwise. The service was fast and friendly, highly reccommended!

“Best place in Newquay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

Small restaurant, relaxed atmosphere. Smallish menu not particularly cheap. Mostly great food let down by a pad tai lacking any zing.
Still good food, would visit again.

“Great things come in small packages”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013 via mobile

This might be a tiny restaurant but it is by far the best place to eat in Newquay, only 5-6 tables so definately need to book but the service and attention to detail with food presentation was amazing
The food was fantastic will hopefully be going back before we head home at the weekend if we can get booked in
