“Good pub carvery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Have eaten here a fair few times - good value, big portions. We especially like their Carvery on Sun & Thurs. Great value for money. Friendly family pub... gets quite busy with locals but very welcoming to holiday makers... normally eat in bar area not restaurant. Would certainly go again!

the food was shocking! all seven meals came out cold the meat on the roast dinner was boil in the bag and had hair in the food so the sign traditional home cooked food isn't quite true

4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

Popped in here for a meal as we had already eaten the day before at witherspoons and didnt want to go there again, we wanted a change
dining room was a little dated decor wise -but the waitress was lovely and the tables spaced nicely -food was really nice BIG portions ,and not overly priced -would def visit again when we return to newquay.

“Varied.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

A nice pub. The food varies. Organised, set menus, for large bookings for clubs etc. are very good, better than the food from the menu when ordering for a few. Buffets are also very good.
