3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

An interesting pay as you go fun park. 3 different go-karting rides and quite good fun. Battleship was disappointing.
The maze is small but surprisingly difficult to get through. Myself and my 10 year old thoroughly enjoyed it but some younger children around us were getting frustrated.
The resturant was quite good, on the better side of what you might expect for this type of ve
Rides were pretty pricey, mainly £3.50/£4 each. Bulk buying of 'stars' brought it down a bit, but we spent £40 for 2 children in about 3 hours
We spent £16 for the four of us to play crazy golf. The course was good, but not exceptional, £2.50 per person would have been enough.
Saying all that, there is a 50% chance we may go back again.

“Good Honest Family Fun”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

The prices seemed to have hiked this year, but they have added new attractions. We spent about an hour with 6 kids on the 'panning for gold' attraction and complained that there was no gold. None of the 6 kids pulled any out at all! The guy told us he could do nothing so we requested a Manager. The manager added a bag of gold and saved the day!

“A laugh”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012 via mobile

Great fun for a few hours. Really for older children. You pay what you can afford, so thought that was a good idea. Free to get in then you pay per ride. Go karts were good fun.

“Good crazy golf”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2012

This place has been going for years although i have not been for about 20 years. It is expensive eg Crazy Golf is £4 pp, though it is a nice course. Our son who is 15 was only really interested in the GoCarts, you get 5 mins at a time. The rest of the park is geared more towards younger kids. The extreamly loud music through the tanoy system was annoying.

“Fun but too expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2012

This is for sunshine days only. And for a big wallet. On the plus: Very helpful and friendly staff, and there were lots of them, which also kept the throughput high as there was no unnecessary queuing. They are big on go karts / petrol cars / bumpers (5 different lay-outs) for all age ranges up to dads. Good is also a boatride with water cannons, a Merlin maze with some wet surprises, 'hamster' balls on a pond and a mini golf. Negative: There is no indoor activity (this should be for rainy days - when the sun shines you want to be at the brilliant beach!), too many cars, not enough variety. They mess you around with having to buy a 'star' credit card (non-refundable) which is just to confuse you to overlook that you are paying about £4.50 per activity. A 900 star card was gone on a very short afternoon. Reasonably priced diner. You are better off going to 'Woodlands Park'.
