“Lovely Lappa Valley”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

We visited Lappa Valley today with our 5 year old. This was a fantastic day out, I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The staff were very friendly, it was very clean, plenty to do and lots of space to get away from it all if you wanted to. Unlike most visitor attractions the food and coffee etc was good value for money and fresh. Excellent.

“Lots of fun at Lappa Valley”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013 via mobile

We took our daughters to the Lappa Valley Steam Railway yesterday. I am by no means a train enthusiast, but have to admit that the miniature trains were a delight. Dotted along the trains journeys are little surprises for passengers to spot - crocodiles, pirates, fairies....though a lot of fun to spot, some of them looked a little tired. There was so much for our three year old to do and explore. She loved mini golf, though we skipped the first 9 holes which are VERY tired and did the newer back 9 instead. I liked the fact that once you had payed to go in, there weren't any extra costs. Several well equipped playgrounds, a boating lake, pedal cars and a woodland walk. We ate at the cafe which was very reasonably priced and the menu choices were perfect for little ones. If you took a picnic, there were plenty of picnic areas. Go when the weather is dry for a really lovely day out with the kids.

“A great way to spend a sunny day, with young children.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Me and my husband visited today with our two year old daughter for the first time. On arrival the place is clean and has a nice feel about it, the train ride into the main park is nice, and my daughter found this particularly exciting! All the play areas are lovely, train rides, boats and crazy golf etcl Lots of fun, but definitely better for young children, and better enjoyed on a sunny day. The cafe was very nice and reasonably priced with a nice selection. Return tickets are good value too, makes it good value. What surprised me the most, and i think sets you above other attractions in Cornwall, is the quality of your staff. Every single staff member today was friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great day. From the lady who sold us our tickets, to the train drivers, the friendly man who served us in the cafe and the old man who told my daughter there were crocodiles in the lake. Your staff were outstanding! Well done!
