“Fab B&B!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

This B & B was a great find. It was overlooking Towan Beach, had great views of sea and Harbour. The rooms are well equipped and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was lovely and definitely was a good start to the day!

Wonderful 3 night stay at this lovely B&B. Great location overlooking Towan Beach, and very close to all amenities in Newquay. The room we had was spacious, with sea and beach view. Lovely bedding, crisp, with feather duvets. Huge shower. Nice tea and coffee tray, with biscuits. Nothing was too much trouble for Trevor, who in addition had a wealth of knowledge to share about the area and places to eat. It was these little touches that made this B&B a pleasure to stay in. The breakfast had a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, fruit and cooked breakfast made fresh to order. In addition I loved the notice board in the entrance with information such as high and low tide times etc. There were also umbrella's and deckchairs to borrow. If visiting Newquay again I would definately stay at Lazy Waves, and recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: All the rooms are very good, but if I stayed here again I would ask for the room with a balcony outs...

My partner and I stayed for two nights, we do like to stay in B&Bs and this ticked all the boxes.

It was clean, cosy, a beautiful building and the views were amazing.
The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough - we had a lovely veggie breakfast on request (not all B&B owners go out of their way to get you veggie sausages -trust me!).
It had everything you need and lots of little touches that make it that bit nicer.

Its far enough away from shops and pubs to be away from noise but close enough to walk and access everything.

This is a B&B for people who want a bit of a lazy weekend, getting up a bit later for breakfast and taking some time out.

You won't be disappointed. Its definitely one that you will want to revisit.

What a wonderful stay from arrival until departure. Nothing was too much trouble. Quality service and accommodation. Fantastic position with a gorgeous view from our room. Highly recommended. Travelled from Australia and felt very much at home.

My girlfriend Vicky treated me to a weekend in Newquay staying at Lazywaves in late Feb,i could'nt have asked for a better, was going to say b&b, but its so much more than that. After being with Trevor and Julie for a short time, they make you feel more like old friends than new acquaintance's.Our room was on the third floor but Trevor gave us a tour of some of the other rooms, all nicely decorated and presented. Again a lovely sea veiw, over looking the famous house on the small island, with its very own suspension bridge. Awoke to the sound of the sea,and could'nt resist getting up early just to sit on the sofa near the window and look at the sea view. Got a bit of a grumble from behind me for opening the blinds, but Vicky was soon sharing the sofa, and watching Newquay come to life on a sunny Sunday morning

Room Tip: There all nice

My partner booked a suprise weekend away in Newquay February 2012 and when we arrived outside Lazy Waves it was to my delight. Julie and Trevor run a very relaxing B&B, the room was just pertect, we had a balcony looking over the beach and Julie was happy to help my partner by having a bottle of bubbly on ice just waiting for us to start our weekend, that was just the beginning and we'd like to send special thanks to Trevor and Julie for their helpful tips on walks, restaurants and whats on in the area - they know their stuff! Lazy Waves may be a family run business but you get top quality service and finishing touches in the room, breakfast was as good as it gets, it kept us going till evening dinner. We will definately be visiting again.

What a great relaxing stay - Julie and Trevor were fantastic hosts with nothing being too much trouble. Our room with super king size bed was very comfortable and the sea view superb.
A stroll across the road and were at the steps down to the beach - great location.
Breakfast was really good; fresh, good choice to suit all diet requirements and plenty of it - just what you need to start the day off before setting off on local walks around the area.
Thanks for the making our stay so enjoyable - we will be back!!
