After already spending a week in Newquay we decided to extend our holiday by a few days, and we stayed at the Tregarthen Guest house. We felt at home and very comfortable right away, the rooms were of a good size and very clean, with a small fridge, and the breakfast was delicious with a good selection juice, cereals, fresh fruit, and a full English. Our hosts were both very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We wanted a short break in Cornwall and found this guesthouse on the internet, it had a 5star rating. There are also small fridges, plates cutlery and wine glasses plus bottle opener in each room, very useful if you just want a lazy night in. The breakfasts are excellent with good choices plus fresh fruit.very friendly place to stay.

Room Tip: Can I suggest you ask for the garden room - but if you are unsuccessful do not be disappointed all t...

It was our first ever visit to the Tregarthen Guesthouse and we certainly were not disappointed,
a very warm welcome from the host, good sized freshly decorated rooms, very clean throughout, parking on site and the breakfast would grace any costly establishment. Added to this sea views are just five minutes or so away and then you can continue on along the cliff side into the town.

Great welcome on arrival from Julie and great place to stay. Good room with private entrance and off road parking as well. Only short walk to centre and beaches, good base for visiting attractions in the area.

The Tregarthen B&B is an ideal location for your stay in Newquay,in fact anywhere you may want to go in the Town, including the beaches are within a 30 min walk.It has private off road car parking, and that in itself is a bonus these days.
The welcome we received on arrival was great,Julie puts you at ease and is a mine of information on where to go and what to do in and around Newquay, but also her knowledge of how to get almost anywhere in Cornwall is second to none.
The rooms are spotless and comfortable the breakfast will set you up for the day.
All in all a great holiday, and a great base to explore from.
