My family and I was staying at parkdean holiday park for a long weekend just gone, we went for food in the clubhouse on Friday night and it was awful floating in fat and microwaved and the beer was flat.
We did see the treguth pub just at the entrance of where we was staying but when we went in it was very much a locals pub and everyone stared as we walked in when we asked about food we got a blunt answer and the barmaid walked away we felt uncomfortable in there so left straight away.. more fool them as we was a party of 7 and would have spent allot of money in there!!!!
Lukily my brother-in-law decided to take a walk to the beach on Saturday afternoon and came across st pirans inn just down the road from where we was staying it took us 5 minutes to walk there we was welcomed as soon as we arrived and the two girls that working couldn't do enough for us nothing was too much bother. we had 3 children with us that were being noisey so we requested to sit in the side room which they opened up for us straight away put the fire on for us so we ended up having a whole room to ourselves. they kept coming in to make sure we was ok. our food was absolutely beautiful so we went back on sunday to eat again, the same girls was working and again nothing was too much bother, they gave all the kids a lollipop after another amazing meal. the owner even popped in to chat . thanks to him and the two girls for making us all feel so welcome and for the amazing food we will definitely be going back to st pirans inn again.
