“Good food, good location, good staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2014

Had the good fortune to sit out in the courtyard in April. Lovely little place and far removed from the hot grease fast food experience that you could suffer from. Had the prawn sandwich, pulled pork roll and children's mini burger (not by myself of course, the family helped). All well prepared and presented and good quality. If you're looking for something that isn't given to you in a Styrofoam tray, give this a go. Also (and a big bonus this) the seagulls stay well away, so there was no danger of being mobbed. Highly recommend from all respects.

“Lovely little hidden gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

We visted Looe last week for the first time (although live in Cornwall) and stumbled across this hidden gem!
As it was a gorgeous day we sat in the suntrap courtyard at lunch, get there early though as filled up fast!
:)
The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, I had the trio of fish, the waitress told me which fish it would be as this can change depending on the catch....lovely and fresh!
The food was gorgeous and plenty of it! We didnt have room for pudding but will make sure we do next time as the homemade cakes looked gorgeous!
Only downside (but it didnt put us off) was that the drinks were a little pricey.
Would definitely visit again though and recommend to others! :)

“Vegetarian Platter”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

I can see from other reviews that, The courtyard has many great features and that the negative reviews are rare but going on my experience, the place is beautiful and the staff somewhat stretched for time but polite. I ordered the vegetarian platter which came in mildly steep in the region of £12. It was meant to come with freshly made hummus, which seemed quite impressive however they must have not had any as it was left off the platter and instead we got an extra serving of piccalilli, the apple slices tasted as if they had been sitting in a juice and the couscous was not fresh by any stretch of the imagination. In all I would expect for a £12 vegetarian platter to consist of fresh produce and have a little more to it, I understand that it is hard in the quieter months to achieve that standard in this part of the world with fewer customers but then why not just lower the price or omit it from the menu.
