“Cant wait to go back for a third time!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

I had stayed at Bosanneth once before with family and always said Id go back! Myself and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights August Bank Holiday weekend. We stayed in the Garden Room (one of the larger rooms) with a garden and sea view. We were given a warm welcome by David and brought a tray of tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits which was wonderful after a long drive!
Each morning we enjoyed a tasty breakfast all freshly prepared
Location wise Bosanneth is ideal for exploring Falmouth. About 2 mins walk to the beach and about 10 mins walk to the town where you can enjoy a large range of shops and restaurants.
We recommend The Wheelhouse and Olivers! But make sure you book well in advance!
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Bosanneth. Clive and David are excellent hosts, the rooms are furnished to a high standard and are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast makes a great start to the day and Falmouth is a great town! Im looking forward to making another booking in the near future!

Location, food, service and comfort all beautifully served by David and Clive in a lovely period house .
This was our second visit and cannot wait to return. It is such a special, relaxing retreat. David and Clive are very attentive and their attention to detail is second to none.
Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.
Clive, please could you make a bigger triffle next time (for michelle only)

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have a sea view

I am reluctant in some ways to share this special place with you but oh what a little gem it is!
Everything is just perfection from the accomodation to the food which if your staying definately stay for dinner Davids culinary skills are not to be missed!!
Truly home from home, true relaxation with the most incredidble hosts David & Clive who cater for every need.
Book well in advance to ensure you get in as its so popular with the guests so many return time & time again including us!
It never disappoints the high standards are always maintained and its always very special.

Room Tip: The balcony or bay room are great!!

This was our fifth visit to Bosanneth which itself says it all! The exquisite hotel and garden are matched by the care and attention lavishly provided by David, Clive and Hannah. It feels like our second home, an oasis of calm punctuated by friendliness and laughter, to which we escape to recharge our batteries. We are already looking forward to our stay next year.

This place is very special. This was our first stay with Clive and Dave but it won't be our last. They are fantastic hosts! When we booked, Dave was very modest about the food, we found it incredibly tasty and all home cooked with a choice for dinner and breakfast which you would need to stay for a fortnight to appreciate fully. We didn't need anything at lunchtime!
We booked one of the smaller rooms however it had everything you would need and was cleaned EVERY DAY, which included replenishing the chocolate bars with the tea and coffee making facilities.
"Nothing was too much trouble" has been mentioned in previous reviews and we saw this in action from helping to mend spectacles to changes for dietary requirements, they are a real joy and Hannah their right hand woman can only be described as a delightful addition to an already wonderful team.
The other guests were a real blessing, creating a wonderful atmosphere when we got together at meal times.
Our only reservation in giving this review is that we won't be able to get a room in the future as repeat booking seem to almost fill the place year on year.

Room Tip: Take which ever room is available.

Falmouth is a beatiful destination and when you go for a fortnight, as we did, it is good to have good weather ( we had unbroken sunshine for the whole fortnight) but more importantly have accomodation and a level of housekeeping and comfort that is sustained over the whole of the stay. The gardens are a joy and are there for the pleasure of the guests and for Northerners like us the palms and other exotics never fail to excite us.
The dining room is more than pleasant with fresh flowers on each of the tables. Also important for us is the comfortable sitting room
As well as breakfast, which should satisfy in it's variety the most discerning, we opted to have the evening dinner. Produced with fresh and as far as possible local ingredients, we fully enjoyed the daily changing menu's and the options offered.
Any comment on the the two principal hosts, David and Clive, must be fullsome. Service to their guests is their motivation which they balance admirably between them. Their cheerfull aide Hannah is also a pleasure.
Finally, and like the majority of other guests, we have booked again for next year.

Room Tip: The Balcony room has fantastic bay views but all rooms are 'top notch'.

We recently spent a week at Bosanneth for our second stay with David and Clive. They both made us extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble - every request met with a smile and promptly dealt with. The varied breakfast options are superb and the fresh fruit and yoghurts were really appreciated. We had the half board option and dinner choices were varied and a good selection of vegetables with main courses. Salad options were truly wonderful! Why eat out when you can sit down to a great home made meal made with fresh local ingredients and relax with a glass of wine too at Bosanneth? There is a comfortable lounge for guests looking out onto their very pretty and colourful garden. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. We had a sea view room on the first floor with en-suite shower room. It was great to have plenty of hangers in the wardrobe and lots of drawer space to unpack everything. The bed was comfortable and I haven't slept so well in months.
