“if you are at all interested in the natural world, pay a visit here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2012

This really is a beautiful and unusual attraction. If anyone is interested at all in landscaping, gardening or natural history and they are in the region, it should be on their “to do “ list.
The staff are very helpful, the facilities in keeping with the overall philosophy, and there is none of the usual attempted milking of the visitor with all sorts of ancillary charges and useless tat on sale. The tea room is clean, quiet and well run, the bathrooms ultra clean and well supplied and the seating throughout the facility plentiful and appropriate.
The landscape gardening is absolutely breathtaking, and it is bung full of wildlife of all sorts. Even 20 mins spent on the small beach for a cup of tea is a delight.
Please, if you are at all interested in the natural world, pay a visit here.

“Breathtaking”

Loved the gardens, array of interesting plants and flowers, views, hugely long waterfall, fish and beach. A must see!

“Nice day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2012

Had a nice day here. I don't know much about plants, but I still enjoyed it. If you like plants you'll really like this place. The best bit, though, is the beach. Really nice secluded little beach, and a small shop selling ice cream. What more could you ask for on a nice sunny day? Food in the cafe was a touch expensive, but nice.

I am not a gardener nor I am into gardens, but Trebah Gardens is a breath taking place. Go and see for yourself. It is a mini jurassic park.

“Wonderful for the disabled.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2012

What a lovely experience at Trebah,no wonder all the reviews are so good.As i have limited mobility, i was lent a large mobility scooter, with no charge, and i could go down {and up} with no trouble, enjoying this wonderful garden, with eveything abouit 6 weeks ahead of my plants in devon.Once again as so often in Cornwall, the staff were so helpful and pleasant, we have recently bought a second home in Porthtowan, and can visit this lovely county whenever we want to.I have lived in devon for over 70 years, and can remember when Cornwall was a no go area. You could hardly get there, but if you actually made it over the Tamar the locals didn't want you, but that didn't really matter cos there was nothing to do anyway. It changed a bit, hasn't it!!!
