“Ice-cream to die for & with that much cream you probably will!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2014

Stopped off here for a quick bite to eat after 7pm. The toasted Ciabattas were well filled and tasted lovely. Great coffee too and help yourself from a big flask of milk. But the crowning glory are the "Quirky" ice-creams. 3 scoops of beautiful creamy ice-cream with clotted cream on top and all topped off with a choice of 13 different toppings. All for £2.90 ! Decadent, delicious and deadly. I dread to think how many calories are in them and the effect on our cholesterol but, as it was the last night of our holiday, we decided to push the boat out! The staff were extremely pleasant, the prices were reasonable and the glass screen windbreak all around the seating area makes for pleasant dining.

“Quick icecream stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2014

We only stopped here for a quick ice cream break on a coastal walk from maenporth to Falmouth. However there were lots of lovely flavours to choose from and the staff were very pleasant. The ice creams were delicious.

“Smashing :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

This beach cafe is open all year round with it's mad ice-creams and hot drinks and panninis. It is basic food cooked to order and very delicious for what it is. You can come here on a not too nice day and have a poncho and a hot water bottle to keep you warm while you determinedly sit and enjoy being outside :)
It gets very busy in the good weather but the staff are friendly and work hard to keep waits to a minimum.

“Slow Slow Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

Visited on a sunny day before the school holidays and the beach was not too busy. There is a sign warning of everything being freshly prepared and a wait being likely. We just wanted ice cream but because of the complicated ice cream they sell it takes ages to be served and you end up milling around waiting with lots of other people. The ice creams are well priced and very good but the option of simple cones and quicker service would be better all round.
