Had a fantastic break, The hotel is in a great location right next to the sea, the town is in walking distance for shopping and eating. My room was very comfortable and clean with great views of the sea. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Most definitely stay again.

I travelled solo and also by train the Anacapri is very close to the station.
On this trip I stayed in three good hotels but this hotel was by far the most helpful and friendly. Great breakfast in both food and atmosphere.

As the other reviews have mentioned this hotel is A1,Peter and June are welcoming hosts and cant do enough for you when you are there , from booking restaurants in town or ordering taxis you dont have to ask ...they offer, im sure they would tuck you in at night if you asked them . Having met the owners the weekend we stayed i know they want to be a guest friendly hotel with the spotlight on making your stay perfect and they certainly achieved this, the team they have cant do enough for you and look genuinely happy and dedicated to there jobs .From the decor of the hotel to the flavour of breakfast and to the location of the hotel this is the first hotel i would look at in Falmouth .Forget the rest choose the best The ANACAPRI GUEST HOUSE you will not be dissapointed ....Thanks Peter and June and the team around you

Room Tip: If you are unsteady on your feet choose room 2 its a ground floor room no seaview but is beautifully...

I booked a night here to get away from our busy life and we were not disappointed with our choice. We arrived on a very grey wet Bank holiday Saturday in May and tbh Peter and June are like a breath of fresh air as soon as you walk in. Our room (5) was lovely, spotlessly clean with a beautiful view. We had a drink in the well stocked bar and was entertained by Peter and given advice on what to do.
Breakfast the following morning was an absolute delight. Served in a bright room overlooking the Atlantic we were spoiled for choice. The service from a bright and bubbly blonde girl was just what you need in a morning, friendly, welcoming and a great start to the day.
We reluctantly then had to check out but hugs all round and a definite place for us to revisit.

Thank you guys, our stay was perfect and your spot at number one is very well deserved in our opinion.

Had a fantastic weekend with friends in this great small hotel! Spent a long weekend away with some old friends for a birthday. First off, the views from breakfast and bar rooms and the bedroom were amazing! Real postcard views of gyllnvase beach. Room was nice and clean with better towels than I can afford so a real luxury! Great night's sleep (may have been partly down to the rum bar we went to in town) and was grateful for a choice of full English breakfast the morning after.

The hotel is about 50m from the beach and only about a 5 min brisk walk to the beginning of town, as long as you don't mind a little hill walking (if you do, falmouth might not be the place for you!)

The staff were great, especially carly and the cleaning team who were kind enough to move my bags as I was staying in 2 different rooms due to my late booking (I can see why it books up quick though)

Something I didn't use but could be useful is the availability of amenities for purchase should you forget, and if you really fall in love with the place they sell bathrobes which I thought was a nice touch.

Finally, if like me you're a bit of a sportsperson, the area is great for running and I found some awesome coastal paths around pendennis castle and the other way towards swanpool beach.

I would definitely go back again, bar is reasonably priced and they have a proper coffee machine like in leading coffee houses. Close to everything, ample parking, ffriendly, welcoming and newer/nicer/cleaner interior than other places I've stayed in falmouth before.

This was our 10th stay in the Anacapri as we go down most years visiting friends, and although new management took over last year the changes they have made are for the better. Peter & June and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed this time in Room 11 which has a wonderful view over the sea and beach, although the stairs are very steep! The rooms are all spotless and extremely well laid out. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and we can certainly recommend it, and hope to be back again soon.

An amazing weekend away!

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in April, it is very clean and looks newly refurbished.
Our room (number 5) had a beautiful view of the beach and sea.
Emily was lovely and very helpful.
Breakfast was yummy!
Perfect location, the beach is 2 minutes away and the town is just a short walk away.
We would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay.
