A lovely friendly restaurant, very different menu but extremely tasty, excellent chips! Slightly pricey but worth it. Staff were very friendly.

“We loved this little place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Oh, it's difficult to know where to book when looking online and not being familiar with the town. We took a chance and booked at Amanzi from our home and didn't have a clue what to expect other than the African menu & atmosphere. It was a truly enjoyable experience. The staff is just sensational...there isn't anything they wouldn't or couldn't do to make the meal more special. Friendly, efficient, charming...all of them. Meals were tasty, fresh & unusual, served with a smile in an atmosphere that would suit any "first date" or (like us) couples who just love to experience new cuisine. We recommend this charming little restaurant and if ever in the Falmouth area again, will certainly stop in to see what's on the nightly special and book a table at this popular & busy African food experience.

“Perfect Sunday lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Had a Sunday lunch which was delicious, beef was melt in the mouth and Yorkshire puds to die for. A nice wine list and attentive friendly service made for a lovely relaxed afternoon. Will be going back to sample the main menu.

“Fabulous in Falmouth”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

We were recommended Amanzi by our parent's who eat there once a week. Wonderful host's, great "taste of africa" food.I had the trinchado for starter's and espetada for main's both cooked to perfection, there is a fair wine list too.... and their cream tea's mid afternoon are worth a try.

“A Birthday Treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

I have eaten at Amanzi several times in the last 12 months and decided to take the wife for her birthday.
I had booked and was remembered from previous visits, which impressed my wife.
Once again the staff lived up to the wonderful standard of hospitality, service and food.
The Scallops were to die for and we really meant what we said about the Muhammara YOU SHOULD SELL IT.
The wife loved the food so much on the friday we rebooked before leaving for the saturday night and yet again Amanzi delivered for us.
The only complaint we both have about Amanzi is that we live 60 miles away :-)
This has to be one of the best restaurants we have been to.
