My wife and I have eaten at the Village Bistro more than a dozen times over the last few years. The food is excellant, and I'm surprised to read other comments in here about it being pricey as I think for the quality of food it is very reasonable. The menu is changed every few months, the choices are always interesting without being too fussy.

We've held family parties there, birthdays, etc, and I've always found the service generally, and the attitude of the owner in particular, to be superb.

We own a B&B close by and have frequently recommended the Bistro to our guests and without exception they thank us for the recommendation and tell us how much they enjoyed going there.

It's very popular so make sure you book !

Overpriced and the staff are always a little too intrusive. Food is good quality though.
