I stayed at the Glann Chester by myself for one night in June. The owner was very welcoming when I showed up early and he let me put my bags in the room and freshen up (I had just stepped off the train after taking a red eye flight from the US). The room was small but very inviting, clean, and perfect for one person. The B&B is very well-maintained and is located near the end of a side street so it is very quiet, safe, and secluded. The bowl of fresh fruit in the lobby is a nice touch. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station and about 15-minute walk into the walled part of Chester. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and I would definitely stay there
again on a future trip to Chester!
