“Outstanding Bed and Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2011

We stayed for 4 nights at this very clean and welcoming B & B. The proprieters provided us with a great deal of information to ensure our trip to Chester was enjoyable. The rooms with en suite were of a good size and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was exceptional with a large menu which would suit any requirement. The B & B is situated within easy reach of Chester city either walking (approx 15 mins) or by bus, the bus stop is close by the hotel.

All in all this B & B is a credit to its industry.

We stayed for 3 nights at this very homely B & B. The rooms were very warm and welcoming and the beds very comfy. The breakfasts were very good and there was a lot of choice. Service was excellent and they kept coming in to made sure we all had enough to eat and drink. The hosts were very friendly and gave us all the information we needed for Chester and the surrounding areas, even tickets for the zoo could be bought there. Our son has special needs but it did not pose a problem for them and they were more than happly to assist us if we had any problems with him. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we will be back for a return stay. Would recommend this lovely B & B.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back are quieter.

Stayed 1 night at this B&B for a visit to Chester. We arrived early but were greeted with a welcome cup of tea and the proprieter gave us info about the City and the local amenities. Our room was of a good size, nicely decorated with a good en suite. The bed was king size and very comfy.Rooms have all the facilities you need such as TV, tea/coffee facilities etc. There is a huge choice on the breakfast menu which prooved to be of very good quality.
The B&B is just off the main road leading in to Chester and we chose to walk in and back a couple of times which took about 15- 20 mins to reach the city each way. There is a bus stop just outside the B&B and we were informed that a taxi would only cost around £4.Chester itself is a really nice city and well worth a visit.

We stayed one night at this charming B & B on our way to Wales. The hosts provided good information about the area and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The breakfast was very good and suitable for my husband's diabetic diet. We wished we could have stayed longer. The only downside was that our room was up two flights of stairs.

Room Tip: Mention any special needs when making a reservation and I'm sure hosts will try to accommodate y...

We stayed one night at this lovely B&B. We were met with a very welcome cup of tea by very friendly hosts who gave us helpful information about Chester and are obviously very proud of their lovely city. We would definitely recommend this B&B.

This B&B is located about 1 mile out of Chester's city centre, besides a quiet road.
There is a bus stop only 30 yards away, or you can take a cab for around 4£.
The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and breakfast is very good.
When we arrived we were treated with a cup of coffiee or tea.
This is a great place for a visit of Chester, which in turn is a city most worthwhile seeing !

Nice welcoming, comfortable, cosy & clean home from home B&B, nice & quiet area too, either a short bus (right outside) or taxi ride into Chester(£3.60ish), though could easily be walked too. Very helpful owners, plenty of time to advise on local stuff if you need it.. The + is the Breakfast! It was especially nice. Usual cereals with the added extra of home made muesli, but also a lovely cooked breakfast & fresh juice, tea & coffee.
The added extra is the fact a menu sheet is available to fill in for the freshly cooked breakfast which can be changed daily, or left the same as you wish. So you can choose, between many options from one rasher or two etc, to whether you want beans, toms, mushrooms or all etc, or just scambled eggs on toast etc etc. Also time slots can be chosen, & are divided up into 15mins to suit early or late risers etc, just to give them some idea when to expect you, which makes thing more efficient for everyone. (7 till 9) While not the cheapest, it is good value for money we believe.
As our daughter is now in Liverpool (25-30mins Drive) for at least 3yrs we will be paying more than this one visit & have recommeded Mark & Romina's B&B(s) to other family members who may wish to visit the area.
