This is an attractive restaurant in one of the less popular areas of Chester. The food is fresh and prepared on an open grill facility. There is a good selection of dishes, plus a keenly priced lunch time menu.
The food was good, but that said; a plate full of nice salad, a skewer with 4 or 5 pieces of chicken and some rice made one wish for something more substantial. I was impressed by the wine list, and we did enjoy a French Vin du Pay. It was very quiet for a Friday lunch time, yet Chester was packed with racegoers. You know what they say 'location, location, location!
The manager, whilst trying to please was too intrusive to the point of being annoying, all well intentioned but ...
I may appear to be churlish, but I will not rate this restaurant as a favourite. At best an occasional visit perhaps?
