Chester Zoo is a fantastic place for kids, young and old. Lots to see and do, easily enough for a full day's entertainment.
Not the most expensive place to get into, compared to some other British 'attractions'. Once inside, with the exception of having to pay for the monorail, it's not too to expensive either.
The food and drinks are as expected, quite expensive. However, they are , on the whole, value for money.
The animals.... well, this is what you go to see. Fantastic collection, all of them seem to have enough room to live and play around. The orang-utans are my favourite, and are a must see. Even managed to see the elusive tigers and black panthers on this trip. Yet again, the elephants have produced a summer baby, and that was a highlight for many people.
