Didn't see any of the reviews beforehand so we went into this with an open mind.
Popped in on the Sunday for the Buffet, hard to argue against £6.95 per adult.
As with most places you get put in a place you would never quite pick yourself (not put in the lovely Booths at the back) but near the front to make it look busier I guess, was another 6 people in at the time.
The Starters consisted of pretty much the usual Pakora's, Bhaji's etc with the Token tray of Chips, the absoloute deal clincher though was the hot tray of Naga Suace which I have to say was very nice.
There were 4 main meals on offer at the Buffet, a mixture of Chicken and Lamb dishes ranging from mild to fairly spicey, 2 types of Rice and 3 Vegetarian options - which doesn't seem a lot but all the dishes were of high quality and kept heated throughout. Whislt we were there the Waiters kept on checking the levels to make sure there was still plenty of grub left.
The problem with a Buffet service is that you don't need many staff on and for me there was too many staff members just milling around with nothing to do, then surprisingly it took 20 minutes for us to get a drink - this was largely down to the waiter who took our order getting sidetracked making up a sign on the back of an envelope with Starters and an arrow pointing to the starters, which didn't bother us as we're a laid back pair. was rather amusing actually (specially as he asked us how to spell the word Starters)
The lighting and ambience of the place was just right with a nice red lighting throughout the Restaurant and some great little booths around the back, some actual good Indian music on in the background too, have been in Indians before that have had Abba blasting out, strange, very strange.
For the price we paid this is a very competitive place when it does a buffet service, I can't vouch for a normal evening as I've never eaten here before but it certainly made a good 1st impression with us.
