Description: Located within the elegant Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa five minutes from Chester's city centre, Ciro's Brasserie has a sophisticated and unique Romanesque interior and a modern Mediterranean menu. Popular for weddings, birthdays and corporate events, Ciro's Brasserie is open for both lunch and dinner, and also boasts a coffee and cocktail bar overlooking a picturesque courtyard. The dining room is decorated with stucco paintwork, murals, skylights and Latin archways, and has a light and airy ambience. Favourite dishes include the scallop, tiger prawn and salmon tagliatelle with coriander and sweet chilli oil; roast suckling pig with cabbage, bacon, baked apple and fine beans; and the delicious glazed vanilla creme brulee served with soft berries for pudding.

“Very good menu and wine list, superbly cooked, presented and served”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

I dined here with colleagues visiting from Germany on the Tuesday after the August Bank Holiday. The restaurant was pretty full, I expected it to be quiet after the busy weekend but the atmosphere was great. I've eaten here a number of times but on this occasion the food was exceptionally cooked and well presented - scallops with belly pork, lamb and fillet steak. They have a good wine list with plenty of variety and prices. The service was very good, polite and attentive. My German guests were impressed, especially with the lamb. Recommended for any occasion. If you don't want the formalities of the restaurant you can always eat in the bar area which I also recommend.

“Superb food - great service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

We ate here as part of an overnight stop and had probably some of the best food we've both ever eaten. I stayed with seafood for my starter and main and the Bouillabaisse was quite simply stunning. The sweets were excellent as well. Great attentive but not over the top service. Highly recommended.

“A good meal enjoyed by all”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

Came here with 6 friends all of whom enjoyed their meals. Most of us opted for the rib eye steak which all were cooked perfectly. Very good service on top so no reason for complaint.

“Nice meal, fitted in at short notice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013 via mobile

We phoned up early evening on a Chester races day and they managed to fit us in.

We had a table for 8, 2 of whom were guests at the hotel.

Excellent meals despite a mix up over a tagliatelle main course where the wrong one was prepared.

Slightly over attentive waitress who seemed to hover and appear behind or between us at every given opportunity.

Nice setting and despite out late booking, we had plenty of time at the table.

I don't think you'd be disappointed with your meal here.
