I dined here with colleagues visiting from Germany on the Tuesday after the August Bank Holiday. The restaurant was pretty full, I expected it to be quiet after the busy weekend but the atmosphere was great. I've eaten here a number of times but on this occasion the food was exceptionally cooked and well presented - scallops with belly pork, lamb and fillet steak. They have a good wine list with plenty of variety and prices. The service was very good, polite and attentive. My German guests were impressed, especially with the lamb. Recommended for any occasion. If you don't want the formalities of the restaurant you can always eat in the bar area which I also recommend.
