Description: Welcome to the Toby Carvery Hoole Village. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings - including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Chester's favourite carvery restaurant. Drop by and you'll find lots more on offer, including cooked breakfasts and tasty specials.

Staff very helpful, veg plentiful 4 choices of meat, very good, but the meat portions are small, and depending on whether the place is busy or not, the veg is either hot or seems to have been under the heating lights and dried up slightly

Great food, great service, loved that we were able to make a reservation and not too far from the doubletree hotel.

Had to give it a title that would grab attention. As I haven't been for a year I don't know if they still have them but suspect they do.
The food was really lovely and at the time we went they had lamb on which is my favourite. Haven't seen it on their website. The staff were really friendly and attentive. It is on our list of places to eat.

“Just what it says it will be”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

Dropped in on our way to Chester for a 2 day break. Excellent food and service. The meat and veg were hot and fresh tasting. Very good value for money in a clean and welcoming pub atmosphere. It was a welcome break in our journey from Cumbria. Must say it was a really good example of how a Toby should be run. Attentive staff, who were not in your face, but there if you wanted anything and food/kitchen staff who made sure all dishes were fresh and hot at all times whilst we were there. Well worth a visit if you want a healthier option of fast food.

“top class fayre and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

Visited 3pm which was not a peak period so did not have any wait for a table. Waitress promptly took order for both food and drinks. We had carvery which was excellent and could not be faulted in terms of quality and value for money. Beer was cheaper than my local pub and wine was normal pub price for a bottle. Would recommend to anyone especially if like me they a looking for a very generous portion.
