We've stayed in B&Bs before but nothing nearly as good as this one. We've stayed in hotels that charged double the amount - don't get any ideas Guido! - and not had the comfort we had here.

Nicely situated, regular bus service on the doorstep and taxi fare about £7 from the station or city centre.

First impressions are good, it doesn't 'smell' like a guest house if you know what I mean! It's like walking into someone's home.

The room we had was very roomy, comfy beds and a 26 inch flat screen TV, and the en-suite - well I say ensuite, it was as big as some bedrooms we have been given - was amazing. Pure luxury. I would add a photo, yes, it was that good I took photos, but it wouldn't do it justice.

Food was very good - any breakfast you want, Guido and Maria can provide it, they couldn't be more helpful and friendly.

Lovely, friendly, comfortable, everything you need and lots more.

This is a "good" not just "above average" B&B. We booked after reading the reviews here. Booking was helpful & straightforward and everything was set up on arrival. The room [at the front] was comfy but well insulated, so not disturbed by the traffic & with a good purpose built shower. Breakfast was excellent; the default setting seemed to be the "full English" but other permutations were available on request. The centre is about a 15mins walk. The only drawback was that parking is awkward - and to be fair, probably is anywhere around Cambridge unless the place has dedicated parking - so its probably that plus comparison with the full B&B "5"s that we've stayed at elsewhere that get this a well deserved 4+.

“Worth House is worth it”

Worth House

I planned a trip to Cambridge with my sister and scouted a short list of bed and breakfasts. We've found B&Bs to be a great value in England, so I consulted a Cambridge website and the Good B&B Guide. Worth House is well situated as all sites in Cambridge are reasonably walkable. The landlords, Guido and Maria, are cheerful, helpful and serve a great breakfast. Our ensuite twin room was roomy, clean and the flat-screen TV was a great touch. We were well-rested, well-fed and thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay in Cambridge. We'd stay there again.

All arrangements made from NZ, by email and phone, (due to a change in dates). My room, large with a queen and a single bed, room to move around, sort out the luggage etc. Nicely decorated, a large wall mounted TV. great to relax with. Plenty of space, good sized bathroom, and an opening window. 10mins walk along the Cam to the City Centre. Breakfast, just like home. Guido and Maria very pleasant, friendly and a most obliging couple. A real home from home. A previous B&B owner, I could not fault anything.

“Cosy, comfortable and friendly”

Worth House

Cosy little B&B. I was lucky as I had booked a single room and was generously given a double room as it was vacant. That made the £50 I paid for the night good value for money!

Owners are a young friendly couple who make you feel very much at home.
Fantastic bathroom and nice little touches. Large LCD television and comfortable bed and pillows.

Good breakfast with several options available. As regards location it is on a fairly busy road but could not hear a sound from my room. About 15-20 minutes walk into the centre of Cambridge. Would highly recommend it!
