This is a very high quality place to stay with easy access to central Cambridge, good parking, attractive rooms and delicious breakfast.
We arrived with high expectations because even the directions were spot on. We were not disappointed as we were shown to our top floor room ( Duke of Wellington) overlooking the interesting Unitarian Chapel. The room was spotlessly clean with good lighting, attractive Rodin prints and a good shower room. There are rooms with baths but we were very happy with a spacious shower. The bad linen and towels were high quality and luxurious and the decor very restful.
The room was not spacious but there is ample space to sit and relax in the downstairs sitting room which has good guide books an daily papers. Every possible comfort has been thought of.
Liz is charming and very helpful without being intrusive. She recommended an excellent walking tour guide who showed us hidden Cambridge - ask for Margaret Goddin.
Breakfast is delicious with a good selection of cereals fruit and jams as well as a full English Breakfast cooked to order and served in an attractive breakfast room.
Highly recommended and we will certainly make it our place of choice in Cambridge.
