“Awesome for vegetarians! (Closed on Tuesdays)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

There are 3 different types of dumplings, a variety of noodles and probably other amazing things. All at the best prices in Cambridge. Plus, you can read a Chinese propaganda newspaper whilst you wait.

It can get quite busy, so if you're in a rush maybe go some where else.

NB it is not open on Tuesdays.

“Wonderful Chinese snacks cooked well”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

I've lived and traveled widely in China, and I'm well familiar with the snacks and street food that this restaurant specializes in. Though no expert, I feel as if the food here is some of the best-cooked Chinese snack food I've had. Highly recommend the beef noodles, made with excellent quality British beef, as well as any variety of dumpling. The owners are friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Worth going out of your way to visit in Cambridge.

“Very good dumpling cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

This is a small no frills dumpling cafe. Its cheap, good food with friendly service.

We've eaten a lot of dim sum and dumplings all over the world (including in China as well as Chinatowns in London, New York and San Fransisco).

These dumplings are simple but very tasty, served in batches of 12. The menu also includes tasty buns, soups and noodles. The style is Northern Chinese rather than Cantonese.

So excellent value and good fun. Don't expect high cuisine, just good, wholesome, tasty cheap food.
