“Thank you Steele Bodger”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2013

Lunch at the College is a tradition for around 25 of us, every year before the Steel Bodger game.

We meet in the bar. This year there was only an IPA available - I seem to recall that in previous years there has been a better choice of ales.

A four course lunch, with wine and port with the cheese. We dine in a private room and I guess that influences the price, which from memory is on the highish side.

However a very pleasant starter, which attracted mixed reviews from our party, but I thought was very good. Pheasant as the main, just a tad dry - why oh why do we persist with the tradition of over cooking pheasant in this country, a most pleasant Christmassy pud and a generous cheeseboard with all the usual suspects.

“Great place for Professional congress”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

I attended a scientific meeting there. We were located in the student's rooms that are basic but acceptable.
The main conference room is great. The smallest room for the poster sessions are way too small and overcrowded.
The dinner room is outstanding. the cafetariat is ok.
The college is nice and relatively close to downtown (10min walk).

“Cambridge's decent bed and breakfast.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Conveniently located in Cambridge, I attended a conference organized by the University of Cambridge and stayed at Robinson College. The nostalgic location and the legacy held by Cambridge University must be on the visit list of any student or an educator. The rooms at Robinson College are decent with clean amenities and nice room service. The lobby staff are friendly and very helpful. A nice walk to City Center, Kings College and Punt tours through Burroughs walk over the bridge and alleys is worth it. Nice landscape views around city center and its attractions (Corpus Clock, museums) is a charm for any visitor to this historic place of learning. I definitely suggest renting a bike to move around the campus, it is fun. As a vegetarian, I was able to find wholesome food from local grocery store especially fresh fruits, different varieties of bread, pastries and yummy yogurt. For anyone on a budget, Robinson College offers value for money. Remember to visit the Chapel in the College.
