Lunch at the College is a tradition for around 25 of us, every year before the Steel Bodger game.
We meet in the bar. This year there was only an IPA available - I seem to recall that in previous years there has been a better choice of ales.
A four course lunch, with wine and port with the cheese. We dine in a private room and I guess that influences the price, which from memory is on the highish side.
However a very pleasant starter, which attracted mixed reviews from our party, but I thought was very good. Pheasant as the main, just a tad dry - why oh why do we persist with the tradition of over cooking pheasant in this country, a most pleasant Christmassy pud and a generous cheeseboard with all the usual suspects.
