I picked Rosa's because it was affordable and close to Cambridge city center, but I found a gem in the home-like feel and wonderful breakfast she serves up in her nice, clean, bright kitchen. Breakfast is served at her big nice kitchen table where I met a nice gentleman staying there who fixes high-tech boilers and told me his father was a pilot in WWII. The next day I had breakfast with a young man from Germany attending Cambridge to learn better english. This was my first B&B and I really enjoyed meeting nice people and sharing stories. Rosa cooked my eggs the way I like and had big mushrooms and fresh cooked tomatoes and sausage and ham too but the best part was the huge plate of fresh fruit she gave me every morning BEFORE all that. Her husband owns a fruit stand so she gets the best of it all.
The first thing you notice about your room is how clean everything is. I have a bad back and need 4 pillows so she brought me 2 more and they were nice memory-foam types. I parked my rental car on the quiet upscale suburban street, she offered me the use of her driveway, but there was no need, the area feels very safe. When my iPhone need power I realized I left my charger at home, Rosa lent me her son's charger to get me powered up.
I may never return to Cambridge but if I do I will stay at Rosa's again.
