“Coffee = warm milk with a light hint of coffee beans”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

I'm sorry to go against the flow here and would stress we only had a coffee (being about 10.30 am) and thus didn't sample the food.

It is, indeed, a pleasant environment and comfortable.

On the down side, serving up two coffees took an absurdly long time (one reason for this was that the staff were now having their own breakfasts).

The young woman left on her own to make them seemed out of her depth and the quality of the coffee was dire.

I'd mark this place down more severely except for the sweet-natured staff, who were very nice.

I recognise that if we'd gone for lunch here and sampled the attractive Turkish menu I might be writing a very different verdict, but I can only relate what we actually experienced.

“Cosy cafe for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Really nice little place- emphasis on the little! I often come here on my lunch hour and have a bowl of their lovely homemade soup which is served with granary toast, tortilla chips and a small pot of hummous. Decor is modern with Marilyn Monroe wallpaper on one wall. The salads all look great (I've never had one) and the emphasis is mediterranean style food. The cakes also look very tempting. The only slight gripe is that it is all a little on the pricey side.

“Highly suggested”

The greatest place in Cambridge I have been there couple of times and the food selection is very good and value that you get with the money is incredible. The staff is very friendly and basically it is more than a cafe. Please go and visit them at least once.

“MUST GO !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2012

This place is more than just a cafe, the food is fantastic and at a really good price.
Even the coffee is very reasonably priced considering its quality and its location in
the city. I recommend to try BOREK and SUCUK.. They have a large rang of food for
all dietory like gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, nuts free, egg free....
