I spend a lot of time per month in hotels on business, mainly in Europe, so this trip to Cambridge was going to make a nice change. My issues started when I tried to find a decent hotel in centre of Cambridge, my word, the prices were horrendous. Some of them charging £120 - £150 for some pookey room and not even a car parking space. So I cam to Tripadvisor and saw previous reviews about Premier Inn. I must admit I thought the Brand was a budget hotel chain. Well the price was very reasonable, compared to what I had seen although located away from the centre it was still only 3 miles to my office location. Well it couldn't have worked out better.

I can be like Victor Meldrew when it comes to hotel stays, this completely exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, tidy and a good size. The room was near silent at night, a wonderful nights sleep.
Breakfast (premium) I paid up front and it was excellent.
Truly, I cannot fault the place. I often leap to criticise, but this time I actually took the time to write my first complement review.
