“Good but...”

Hotel was spotless but we attempted to check in at 12.30 and we were told we could not check in before 3pm. Our rooms were ready but this is the policy. We were attending a funeral and needed to get rid of our bags and they refused to hold them. They offered us one of our rooms (we had a total of 4 rooms booked) to store the bags at a cost of £10.00. We simply had no choice but to pay this in order to have our bags stored. The room was fully guest ready. We had just travelled from Ireland to attend the funeral and the staff had no compassion. How can they charge £10 for the use of the room before 3pm when the room is already guest ready. This is a way of getting additional revenue and we think it is unfair and unjust. The security in the hotel is very good. Guests need a swipe card to get onto any floor, which is excellent, but we think the £10 charge is unfair. The double bed in each room was very comfortable but the rooms with single beds added in were camp beds and only suitable for children. They were very small and uncomfortable.

Room Tip: If asking for a double and a single bed make sure the single bed is not a camp bed. Rooms to the bac...

Area outside the hotel littered with overflowing bins from other shops
group of youths in one corner smoking etc group of men that looked like they were living rough in the opposite corner drinking cans of beer my partner found it intimidating and will not return to this hotel

Got woken up at 6:20 by bins being emptied, appreciate this has to be done. But I then have to listen to the Travelodge staff having a chat whilst and after they are putting the bins back! Nearby road works started at 6:45!!!! Nothing on the website to warn about noise from this. I am very tired and have a business meeting to attend today!!!

This is a very nice modernised Travelodge right next door to the Eden Shopping Centre.

Efficient and welcoming staff. Rooms rather on the small side - only space for the chair provided under the table in a double room so you end up sitting on the bed.

We were on the 3rd floor so traffic noise did not bother us (cold weather so no need to open window).

Only snag is the car parking. You have to go in the Eden's 1,400 space multi storey car park.
Follow instructions on which colour zone to park in to save walking but still quite a hike to get to the hotel. Route through the shopping area is signed as long as you look at the overhead signs at the junctions. Might be a tad intimidating late at night. Car Park charges reasonable overnight and for first 4 hours from 7.00 am when daytime charges kick in. But don't stay after 11.00 am or the charges will go up quite steeply

We paid £30 advance booking. Would have cost a lot more on the day.

I stay at this hotel every week on business, and can thoroughly recommend it.
The rooms are always warm, clean and tidy, bar meals and breakfasts are really good.
The staff I tend to deal with are Gosia, Igne and Mark, and all staff are very courteous and helpful.
As I continue to work in High Wycombe on a regular basis, I have no intention of looking for an alternative hotel, keep up the good work!

This is my fourth time in Travelodge High Wycombe. Staff is very friendly, helpful and making check in process very quick.
Gosia, Anup and Gintas in the reception was always happy to help with everything I asked about.
Rooms are clean, electric heater works really good.
Hotel has the best location in High Wycombe, just next to Eden shoping centre, a lot of shops, bars, restaurants, cinema and bus station.
I have never tried hotel bar due to a lot of opportunities outside. But there is a bar/restaurant, if someone would like to have breakfast, dinner or even they are open 24h. The hotel I recommended to a friend of mine.
