“Don't bother”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2015

Came here with family to celebrate our daughters birthday . Haven't been for s while so could only hope it had improved. ....It hadn't. Staff not very welcoming or friendly .The food was hot but then it would be because it was overcooked ;avoid the chocolate brownie or should I say stodge. All in all nice sorroundings and reasonably good menu but spoilt by the staff and chefs ( I use the term loosely )
I'll go back in another couple of years

“Epic Fail”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2015

Not eaten here before but needed a fry up after midday and this was the only real option for an all day breakfast. Food took 40 minutes to arrive with no communication from the waiting staff about the wait, i would imagine that i would still be sat there if i had not asked for the whereabouts of my food. With hindsight asking for my food was a mistake as when it arrived it had been thrown on the plate, it was cold, they over cooked the eggs and only managed to serve me half a mushroom. I struggle to understand how a trained chef can ruin a all day breakfast. If i was not so hungover and fed up of waiting i would have walked out and demanded a refund, however the hangover beat the my need to complain and cause a scene. It is so ever sad that we loss traditional pubs as frequently and places like this are packed and spreading like wild fire. Today has taught me one thing, no matter the severity of the hangover never eat in a sizzler!!!!!!!!!!

“Cheap and Cheerful ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2015

Came to have dinner with a couple of friends, all ordered very large portions including lots of extras and sides and a few beers! Averaged about £20 each. Was there an atmosphere, nope! it was a Wednesday evening! sport on in the background and able to talk and enjoy good company.

“Poor poor poor”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2015

We asked earlier on Friday did we need to make a reservation for 7:15 / 7:30 earlier on in the day ,to be told no it will be very quiet this evening.
So myself and lady rolled up at 7:15 and upon entering only one person at the bar was serving as the other bar staff seemed more interested in doing other things...no front of house to ask where we go to sit.
We stood like lemons for 5 minutes upon when another party came in and asked for a table only to be told by a bar member "its so busy its going be about 20/25 minutes
"...they then said "but we have booked a table" so they were then led to there table after ordering their drinks and food order..
We were totally ignored by all staff and unfortunately one female bar member looked like she would rather be elsewhere and the attitude wasn't very good for a restaurant.

We walked out in disgust at the attitude of staff and went to a place in Bierton which I must say treated us as customers and couldn't have been more helpful....plus we were sat straight away and enjoyed a lovely meal
