Had a great birthday meal here recently. Started with English sparking wine, very good flavour. Sat in the large and lively bar area, service was attentive but not intrusive. Then went thru to the restaurant, decorated like a French bistro. Once again large enough to feel comfortable, full of lively eaters. Friends started with the tempira oysters, which they loved. My wife have the autumn salad which had fantastic flavours in it. I tried the Choucroute du Vin for main, which was fantastic if like me you love french bistro cooking. I ordered an expensive Cote du Beaune red which was worth every pound. The wine list is extensive, and covers all price points. overall, excellent
