I used to ride here regularly in the 1990s. Back then it was considered a top training yard with the BHS and offered excellent instructors and really nice horses. Having lived in London for the past ten years or so, I decided to go for a lesson with a friend when visiting my 'homelands'. It was not good!! My horse was very stiff and lacklustre, and barely capable of jumping a crosspole, let alone a course of jumps! My instructor was a young girl who seemed to lack any real knowledge, and when I questioned her I discovered she had NO qualifications at all. The whole yard was sloppy and a shadow of its former self....Not worth the money.
