Not exactly something to be proud of, yet part of Bristol's history with the slave trade. Its somewhere that is a must to visit to learn of what happened and the people involved and helps us to recognize the steps taken to (hopefully) put things right. It also makes me wonder what the British felt like when they were taken as slaves to Rome. Its only a stone's throw from Cabot Tower, Bristol University and the Cathedral. And it's free to visit.
