Visited the Zoo as part of our short stay in the city. Took a number 8 bus out of the centre up towards Clifton, returning on an 8 or 9, for a reasonable fare. Half term so we knew it would be busy. Buzzing with little people, many dressed for Halloween, all enjoying the animals. My favourites were the Gorillas as my experience to date is seeing them at other Zoos and Longleat from afar, often with their backs to you and little action. This group were very amusing to watch and the Daddy of them all was huge. Catch the talk at 12.30 which was very good. As we watched them, children who were brave enough were climbing above the animals on the Zooropia walkway.Great fun and well thought out. A pleasant couple of hours spent seeing Penguins, meercats and seals. Took one look at the queue for the Cafe and took to our heels. Lots of work ongoing Will be good when completed.
